First and fourth periods finished looking at the first example of literary analysis. We also began working on the first group of literary terms and topics we’ll be using to analyze the first group of short stories, beginning tomorrow.
Second and seventh periods continued the scaffolded work with the Schaffer model we began yesterday. I provided the topic sentence and students in groups worked to add concrete details and commentary.
