English I students discussed informally in randomly formed groups the question of how the setting of “The Most Dangerous Game” affects the plot. We came up with several ideas:

English 8 students finished “The Brave Little Toaster,” a silly story that discusses a serious question. We finished up our first annotation practice, and we will be analyzing the story tomorrow.
