English 8 students continued with their acting/presentation projects today. Sixth-period’s group 2 went while seventh-period’s group 1 presented today. Afterward, we looked at a key passage from the scene presented.

Seventh-period’s notes

English I students continued with their lit circles for Mockingbird. We’ll be writing our fourth paragraph about the book on Wednesday, so students need to be through chapter 16 by then.

  • double-check that you’ve completed the comprehension questions for act 1 scenes 1 and 2 on Moodle;
  • practice presentation as necessary.
• English I Honors: 
  • complete the Romeo and Juliet soundtrack project for turn-in Thursday;
  • make sure discussion questions are completed on Moodle;
  • complete reading for lit circles for tomorrow (as your group decided).
