English I students went over one of the most confusing passages in Lord of the Flies — Simon’s encounter with the pig’s head, the Lord of the Flies.

It’s a very confusing passage that makes sense only when we can get a diagnosis for what happens to Simon.

English 8 students had their first day of the literature circles we’re using to complete The Diary of Anne Frank.

Students in groups should have finished reading by now 2.1. We’ll be running the discussions for the first scene on Monday.
