According to my lesson plans, we should have moved on to the next element of the unit (for third and fourth periods) or an entirely new unit (for fifth and sixth periods) after spending a few minutes making sure everyone’s writing assessment represented their best work and ensuring no one had questions. In all classes, though, I made the executive decision to devote the majority of the class time to these projects, so all lessons moved back one day.
