English I students looked at the final steps in our massive Romeo and Juliet project. We first looked at elements we need to include in the introduction and conclusion.

• Introduction should include:
  • Explanation of purpose (i.e., songs for a soundtrack)
  • The titles of all three songs and artists
  • A general idea of how the three songs connect (from earlier planning)
• Conclusion:
  • Introduction reworded and shortened.
  • What to remove:
    • Artist names
    • The ideas about specific song connections; generalize as much as possible

Afterward, we looked at how to join the connections within a single song.

English 8 students completed test corrections.
