English I Honors worked on tightening their topic sentences again. It’s not what I originally planned on doing, but seeing the need, I tried to remedy it somewhat today.

English 8 students hit one of the grammar standards today, working to recognize participles in sentences. We’ll be returning to this in the future, hoping to incorporate it into some writing as well.

    • read “The Necklace” and “The Gift of the Magi,” both available at the Moodle site;
