We had enough absent in English 8 that it didn’t make sense to move ahead with new material, so I gave students the opportunity to work on their one-pager, due next week, in class.

English I Honors students finished up their sonnet work from yesterday and looked at a new sonnet, number 130, perhaps Shakespeare’s most famous. We ended class by turning in, as a group, the short story project.
