In second and seventh periods, we continued our multi-day close-reading work with a text on empathy. We’ll be putting it all on pause for a while next week, though, as we have our final PASS preparation work.

First and fourth periods began one of several small lessons on grammar. We’ll be covering phrases (prepositions, gerunds, participials, and infinitives) over the next few weeks in weekly grammar work. Today we looked at prepositional phrases.
