Today in first and fourth periods we looked some more at our group “chunks” of 2.2 Romeo and Juliet, looking for more hidden stage directions and deciding on elements not implicitly in the text (body language, facial expressions, etc.).
Second and seventh periods worked on an article debunking the Holocaust denial/revisionist movement. We looked at organizational structures within the text. Specifically, we examined the use of colons to introduce lists and semicolons to separate the items of that list.
In addition, we practiced using context clues to determine a text’s meaning.
