First and fourth periods broke into groups and worked on paraphrasing Sonnet 130, and then went over it.
Students also practiced writing iambic pentameter in preparation for our sonnet writing adventure. We looked at a couple of things to be aware of when writing in iambic pentameter.
Second and seventh periods continued comparing and contrasting Anne Frank’s original diary with the drama. We moved from the actual reading today to organizing our research notes.
At the end of class, we spent approximately ten minutes practicing for the performance project.
