First and fifth periods continued with Nightjohn. We took something of a detour within the unit, looking at participles before heading back to the book to see how the author uses them in his writing.

Second and fourth periods worked on planning the third essay in the short story unit. Students will be examining the importance of the point of view in “The Interlopers” and “The Cask of Amontillado.”
