First and sixth periods completed the work on voice with Nightjohn. Voice is obviously a topic we’ll be revisiting throughout the semester, but for now, the initial introduction (review for many) is complete.

Second and sixth periods began planning their second major writing assignment: a character analysis. As this analytic writing is a form for so many students, we’re taking things slowly during the first two introductory essays.

As of tomorrow, I will be taking on an additional class (a seventh-grade English class) during seventh period. This will likely push my posting times back, possibly into the early evening hours. Daily updates will continue, however.
