First period had their final day of preparation for the Anne Frank project. I believe everyone was a bit surprised at how quickly the time passed. Fortunately, the groups will have a chance to improve their grade if their first presentation isn’t adequate.

First period planning
Second and sixth periods completed 1.3 from The Diary of Anne Frank. We had a little quiz bowl at the end (primarily for me to check comprehension).
Fourth period began act 4 for Romeo and Juliet. We looked at text and subtext in 4.1 and 4.2.
Homework
- First period:
- final draft of student-choice writing assignment due Monday;
- prepare for presentation.
- Second and sixth periods:
- reread the scene presented today;
- add three entries to your double-sided journal using three separate reading skills.
- Fourth period: read 4.3.
