First and fourth periods began by reviewing the types of phrases for tomorrow’s test. We then moved on to discuss The Lord of the Flies as an allegory in our groups, finding the meaning of all possible symbols in the novel. After finding the meanings in our groups, we held a Socratic seminar to discuss them as a class. We will finish finding the meanings of all symbols tomorrow.

  • Begin working on your submission for the chapters 11 and 12 workshop.
  • Assess for either the chapters 5 and 6 workshop or the chapter 8 workshop, depending on which you chose to do.
