After the presentation, first, sixth, and seventh periods had quizzes.

Second and fourth period went over the homework (quotes that indicate an unreliable narrator) in the story “In the Family.” As we went over the quotes, I gave examples of what analysis would be (inferring, connecting outside the text, etc.).

Homework
  • First, sixth, and seventh: none.
  • Second and fourth periods: read Poe’s “The Cask of Amontillado” (285).
