Today in first and fourth periods we broke down and analyzed two poems, “Because you asked about the line between Prose and Poetry” and “Introduction to Poetry”.

Also we got in pairs and discussed the poems in detail, trying to do what I modeled earlier.

Second and seventh periods continued with the new unit on heroes, working on an anticipatory lesson today to make sure students have necessary background knowledge before reading the Diary of Anne Frank.
