Fourth period English I Honors students are nearing the conclusion of the To Kill a Mockingbird unit. We will begin working on the culminating project shortly. Today, students analyzed the conversation between Atticus and Heck Tate in an attempt to determine what actually happened to Jem, Scout, and Bob Ewell.

Sixth period English I Honors students spent the majority the day working with a partner on their fourth writing assignment for Lord of the Flies and got about fifteen minutes at the end of the class to work on reading the novel.

English 8 Strategies students worked on their writing projects. Those who’d completed the requisite number of drafts began learning how to write a short introduction; those who hadn’t completed the required number of drafts continued working on their drafts.
