All classes began working on their first-quarter culminating projects. We will be working on them in the computer lab for the rest of the week and all three days of next week (the short week for students).

First and fourth periods are creating an argument about the similarities and differences between the Scottsboro boys trial and Tom Robinson’s trial in To Kill a Mockingbird.

Second and seventh periods are looking at the question of whether or not the worldwide tradition of slavery continues, and if it does, to what degree.

• English I Honors: work on culminating project (as necessary).
